Die of Death Pie

Pie debuts in the Fashionably Late update as a versatile utility ability that shifts team fights through debuffs and buffs. This A-tier ability lets Civilians throw a pie that can be charged by holding space, creating strategic choices between quick throws and powered deliveries.

Hitting a Killer with Pie obscures their entire UI with pie filling, temporarily disrupting their ability to track Civilians and manage cooldowns. This debuff creates windows for team escapes and objective completion that no other ability replicates. Landing Pie on teammates grants a protection buff that absorbs incoming damage.

The SweetTooth synergy forms when Pie and Hotdog appear in the same deck. SweetTooth replaces the Hotdog with a Birthday Cake that regenerates 30 health rapidly but reduces maximum HP by 7 per use. Unlike CarePad and Loveshot, SweetTooth does not require Caretaker, making it the first standalone food synergy in Die of Death.

Pie pairs with Revolver for debuff-into-stun combos: obscure the Killer's UI with Pie, then follow with Revolver stun while they struggle to react. Block users can protect Pie throwers during the charging animation, which leaves the Civilian stationary like Bugle.

Competitive tier lists may shift as players discover optimal Pie timing. The ability's dual offensive and defensive applications make it flexible across all maps, especially reworked environments with new cover geometry from the Fashionably Late update.
