Die of Death Pursuer

Pursuer is the gateway Killer in Die of Death Roblox. Every player starts with access to this character, making it the most commonly seen Killer in public lobbies. Despite being free, Pursuer holds a respectable A-tier ranking in community tier lists thanks to reliable chase tools and low skill floor.

When playing as Pursuer, your primary goal is maintaining constant pressure on Civilians. The Relentless Chase ability allows you to close distance quickly, while Lunge Attack punishes players who think they have escaped around corners. Speed Boost should be used strategically rather than spammed, as timing it during a Civilian's ability cooldown creates guaranteed downs.

On maps like Grandma's Backyard and Temple, Pursuer excels due to moderate line-of-sight breaks combined with enough open space to utilize Speed Boost effectively. Avoid overcommitting on Tundra Trench where verticality can waste your cooldowns.

Against experienced Civilians running Dash or Cloak, bait out their defensive abilities before committing your Lunge. Taunt users can stall your chase significantly, so prioritize eliminating support-oriented Civilians first to reduce team coordination.

Evilness management matters even as Killer. Players who dominate as Pursuer may find themselves selected as Killer again next round. Use Kind Mode if you prefer Civilian gameplay after a strong Killer performance.
